Fold-away lifts are robust truck tail lifts that assist in the loading and off-loading of commercial products, supplies or gear. These tail lifts are extremely versatile, offering level rides from the commercial vehicle’s cargo area to the ground through the use of two dedicated wide arm centre lift cylinders.

About the Product

Dohllandia’s fold-away truck tail lifts are developed with functionality and quality in mind: they offer various configurations for each individual tail lift. The lifts can be fitted with an ultra-lightweight aluminium lift platform for more compromising use cases; reinforced galvanized steel platforms are available too.

As the name suggests, the fold-away truck tail lift can easily be stored below the truck’s chassis to ensure the lift does not restrict access to the cargo area and offers great manoeuvrability when the intended operations require frequent access to loading docks.

The tail lifts can easily be fitted to a wide variety of commercial vehicles, including a wide range of trucks and semi-trailers.

There are additional mounting options available to buyers to allow for fitting to refrigerated truck body units. The Dohllandia tail lifts feature bolt-on mounting plates that enable quick and easy fitting.

The lifts also have a very stable construction with wide arm width for mounting outside of the chassis beams and an integrated floor plate for flush mounting.

DH Lifts offer a variety of truck tail lifts for commercial trucks and trailers with a gross vehicle weight of up to twenty-six tonnes. There are also different options for lift cargo capacity ranging from lifts that have a max capacity of 500-1000 kg up to powerful lifts that can handle demanding loads of up to 2000 kg.
